3/16" brake line and some heavy duty ends...but links aren't that expensive to buy either...what exactly are you looking to do?

| You can lose the plastic three link adapter and spin a new rod end in each of the links. You will have to buy or make a new servo plate to mount the links to.

Instead of changing the links try to limit you shock by putting gas tubing on the shafts. Cheap and will help alot limiting travel

drill holls for a 4 link on your servo plates youll have to countersink the hole and mount the link on the underside of the plate for the front servo i did on the rear as well

| You wouldnt have to buy them per se but its the only way you can switch to a 4 link. you can use just allthread to make your uppers. A good hardware store will stock it in different thicknesses. A 3 foot long piece should run you less that $5 bucks. Cut it to length with a hacksaw, dremel or even a big ole pair of linemans pliers, file the ends off so there arent any big burrs and spin a couple ball ends of your choice on there and you will be good to go. The choice of rod ends is really up to you, whatever will fit and you feel confortable with. Personally i run 8/32 allthread and Traxxas Revo rod ends (9 bucks for 12 of them). So for under 20 bucks and a little muscle you could make plenty and experiment with whatever works. Or get a friend to split the cost with you and you will still have plenty of materials to experiment with. Good Luck!

if you have an old chassis laying around you can use the servo plates as templates but make them longer, thats what i did with a crt .5 chassis i had laying around. worked great now ive got four link front and rear, was a little work to get all the holes right and countersink them but turned out real clean and i was able to pitch the rear end up so the driveline is above the links. |
