Well to day I got my locker in. I also Jumped in and took on the undertaking of cutting my tire foams. I have to say tho, It was no pick nick In the park, Pain in the but if you ask me =P.

Once question, I did drill some small holes in the rims to release the air. Has any one else done this?

On a diffrent note Just wants to say thanks for the support while I get my ax10 up an runnin.

Also, Any suggestions on new treads? Suggestions welcome!

Thanks again.

Lots of folks are drilling air holes in the rims. It cuts down on some of the bounce from the tires.

I run 2- 1/4" holes in each wheel. As for tires, I gotta reccomend Losi Claws. So far they are the best I've used.

I'm running just a sealed air tight tire in the rear and .5 oz weight. Up front I'm running sealed air tight tire with a thin piece of foam 1" x 1" strip of foam I cut to length. Running stock Lizards too. So far, the gang I run with have been impressed w/ the performance. No complaints here. Eventually, I will buy tires, but for now, I'll use these Axial Lizards till they're bald.

Check out the CA thread and local SJ areas. Come on out, it'll be nice to see another AX10 out and about.

I'm local in SJ too.

i took my foams to a grinder carefully and ended up with a great 14 point star patern was quick and easy. so far the losi tires and the proline hammers are working good at our local hobbystore rockcrawler comps.
