Here it is!! RCP Comes thru again!! They shipped on monday and showed up here today! I installed the extra set of BonusLine Spools I had. I will install them in the axle housing later on But first, the next couple days I will be working on some Berg steering setups. Now if the Wheels show up I think this rig is done!! Sweet! The R&P are so much more heavy compared to the stockers. Now I just need some lock-outs for the rear and aluminum front goodies. Are you planning on dying the wheels or keeping them white? I can totally see this looking like some kind of clone trooper when done all white and black. |

| An update
OK finally got to install the axle bling and the new Rims. The new R&P was definitely a tight fit, ut with some gentle persuasion wih my favorite Hammer they snugged up nice and tight. It only took about 4 minutes to get the rear axle apart and I didn't have to completely take the housing off And here is a comparison with OEM R&P(the OEM has the Bonus Line Lockers on them too) MMM Beef!! And just before Buttoning things up I smeared some lithium grease on the gear teeth and gave them a spin to be sure every spun nicely!! I'm lovin these gears!! And now the new wheels, I have to say Gerame at Eritex does a fantasic job on these and his service is second to none. The best part is his prices are Very Good!! These rims almost mounted themselves on the Panthers!! Boy, those wheels really show the life of those comped out Panthers, Time for some news shoes!! Come On Fatbastard Get that 2nd pair ordered for me buddy!! Thats it for now guys |

Wow that rig turned out sweet! that dig fit in there great, it's nice you can look clear through the window and not see a mini servo. looks like it side hills awsome, with that servo lowered also. I like the wheels too. nice job |

| Update!!
The TK Twister Chassis is proving to be a great short shock chassis! Comp #1 I had an off course accident and shattered one of the rear lower links and drove the remaining piece of link into the shock shaft and bent it. Well, I did a very fast field repair and replaced it with a quickly made bent lower link from a straight OEM link one of the guys had in his bix(thanks Nicky!!). I have since cut new lower links without the holes and using revo shock ends, Very Beefy!! In my hast I did not realize the shock shaft was bentwhich caused the shock to compress and stay compressed which in turn caused therig to act funny on course. That cost me the first competion of the season. But,, The second comp was a totally different story!! My first run was hideous!! but the 2nd and 3rd course was great with a -7 and a 6 to put me in first place. The rig worked very well, very stable and extremely predictable. I'm debating getting the newly released CKRC high steer knuckles and converting to BTA steering set-up, but not sure it's needed. I am going to see if Gerame rom Eritex will make me a set of the five spoke poison spider style rock rings for these wheels. Here are a few pics from the comp. Enjoy!! |

Dont get me started!! the scoring on Sat was fk'd, I'm still pissed about how things were handled!! And I did beat the bergs until the scoring got fk'd then I didn't care much!! so lets look at course 1 the bergs got beat by more than just one shafty. So the berg did NOT own the day.

Well, when the scoring is done right that my change. Plane of gate,, whoever heard such an assinine thing.. Then deciding to score 2 gates later. So those wins are questionable!! But the TK-Twister performed flawlessly. I think I may try changing the front droop shocks to sprung just to see how that works.. Last edited by The Real Dogman; 12-07-2008 at 10:14 PM. |
