Default ReAR eNd!

Well I have nine days to finish this rig and everyday I get a mm closer. I recieved my Billet four link mount today from Crawler Design Works (CDW) so I decided to mock it up.

But, I couldn't find the right length of uppers. I don't like the setup with
two links screwed together so, I ordered some custom made TI. links from ROCKSMITH Engineering.

Crazy bastard. Going to be one sweet rig when its done though. Did you do all the links or just the uppers?

Just the uppers, I want to stay with the delrin. I think TI. is too pretty to get all scratched up and what not.

Well, I recieved some more parts to finish this build. Finally, It's almost done and all need now is the TI. upper tie rods from ROCKSMITH to finish her off. Not to mention I will finish this build almost a whole week before finals. Talk about close call. On to the pics.

I recieved these Eritex ROCKERS today, Wow these are sweet wheels. I may not use them on this rig, Maybe a 2.2 scaler!

I just finished organizing all the leads to the RX, I kept everything nice and bunched up in the front of the rig. I cut a piece of lexan and mounted it to the uppers with small zip ties.

Here you can see the Lexan shelf I made for the Tekin FX-R and the Castle Creations BEC, I also had to cut 5mm off the MIP driveshaft so the shocks would fully compress.

And the rear end, nice and clean.

Here she is, all done. Except for the TI. uppers from ROCKSMITH and 1 Delrin ring from Eritex Inc. I just wanted to post these up before her debut today at Calistoga. It's going to take a beating now. I will post some action pics and post up tonight. Stay tuned.

Did you change the position of your links on the rear four link mount in the test drive pics or do I need to lay off the sauce?

I recieved these today, These Eritex inc. adjustible wheels are sweet. They look so good I think i'm going to use these at finals with the Losi Claws. The Claws seem to work better at lake wohlford, Besides I don't think I want to screw up the Eritex inc. Rockers just yet. Check em out.

Well the day has come. Will shafty beat the Bergs? We will see, I just recieved my Mikey Mike lid, Finished trimming and mounting tonight. I've also installed my ROCKSMITH TI. upper links. I burnt up the last hitec 225mg so I decided to install my back up 5995TG. I'm sure I will not burn this one up, Just hope that I don't break the Dig unit. I will take some pics tommarro at the comp site and post up tommarro. Stay tuned

Here are some pics of our finals comp, I secured third place in point standings and finished 5th at the comp.

This was the last gate to the finish, I was at a negative score and then...

This, I got so wrapped up in fishing line I couldn't go without an on course repair then timed out. Oh well.
