Thanks for all the compliments guys Here are a few updates! Pro-Line C10 is painted. Stuck with the Monster theme and it came out ok. Wanted to keep it simple. Few pics as its initial stance with the Pro-Line beadlocks and G8 Hammers After a lot of body trimming, and some weighted Mayhem Eng wheels here is where it stands: |

Paint looks awsome. Did you cut the mask by hand?

Very cool I love that you didn't use a proper crawler body on it. The paint job looks amazing.

I think it's about time for you to tell use finally what shocks are you running exactly. Please tell me they are the same kind as the 4" front shocks off my ofna mutilator I have laying around.

| Sorry, I have had these so long and I picked them up used. I dont know what Ofna they came off unless I do some serious searching online I am sure the shocks you have will work just fine.

| Probably not. Mutilator shocks have two different lengths. The fronts are roughly 4" and the rears are over 5". I think you are using OFNA LX PRO shocks, but I don't know for sure.

In the mean time, some updated pics! I used an Axial body post for the rear mount. Drilled and countersunk the holes for the Axial transmission. Axial Tranny with the EEM motor plate and Holmes Hobbies Cobalt Puller installed. VERY VERY tight fit. Actually it didn't fit, I have to remove a little material from the chassis to fit the spur gear. You can see the area that was "reshaped". The following pics also show the clearance's I achieved. I didnt want to remove a large amount of material from the chassis so the motor is very close. Some more pics with the body mounted, and Mayhem wheels up front. Also changed the front springs to something shorter. I always liked running a partial droop setup on the front suspension with 80-100wt oil so I am starting there. Currently setup for 75% compression and 25% droop. | |

this is the one i got http://www.hobbylinc.com/htm/tes/tes1831m.htm but they have a nice line of metalic colors. sprayed it tonight seemed to stick well. some of the guys from the hobby shop are using it to paint there on road tour cars.
