Nluv's CDW LS2.0 Proto Chassis Build

My new CDW chassis showed up yesterday. I never did run the original CDW chassis and now I wish I did  The finish on this chassis and skid plate is amazing! I feel like I just showed up late to the party. Cant wait to get this running.

Some Specs:
CDW LS2.0
CDW F/R axles plates
Axial Axles
STRC parts from East End Machining
Axial ARTR links
Axial transmission
CDW transmission outputs
East End Machining Motor Plate
Holmes Hobbies cobalt 10T
Hitec 5998tg
Ofna buggy shocks (4")

Pro-Line Chevy C10 body

Tires of choice will be the new Pro-Line G8 Hammers
Mayhem Eng Beadlocks.

Onto the initial mockup pictures:

Got a part number to those OFNA buggy shocks? I've been eyeing some myself :)

MtnBkr 10-30-2008 03:46 PM

That looks sick..."thumbsup" I want one!

Where are the bottom of the shocks going to mount? On the standard mounts or on top of the axle?

helhedded 10-30-2008 03:47 PM

I'm jealous :ror:

so far this looks great. I will be watching "thumbsup"

Ever thought about going with a Red Bull paint scheme? That looks like where you are headed.

I kid, I kid

Definately a snazzy looking build. I really like the UE RacerX shocks/OFNA buggy shocks. I see you found the matching orange collars.

I like the giant aluminum block washer used in the front of the steering servo. Any chance thats an O-T-C part?

Yeah, she's gonna be a nice one NLuv "thumbsup"

They will mount to the axle, they are setting there because there is nothing under the chassis to raise it to the height that I will be running it at, so the shocks arent in their correct spot.

Of course I stop! I taught myself to be efficient and not screw around in the garage haha. Its probably 50/50, the driving never gets old. Although its the best when its a new rig.
