The DNA dig is the easiest IMO because their are instructions for it. And it's pretty self-explanitory. It also has worked flawless for me.

I am finishing up the install of my DNA dig right now. I had a couple of fitting issues, but was able to massage everything into place. I went ahead and fabricated a full size servo mount rather than using the mini servo mount, and everything seems to be working so far. Does anyone know if the DX3.0 can be used for 2WD free wheel mode as well as the locked and 4WD? Thanks.

RCP has what you're looking for listed on their website, but says out of stock on them. Maybe look on their vendor thread and ask when they'll be back in stock http://www.rcpcrawlers.com/home.php?cat=18

HR dig unit comes without instructions, but honestly there's nothing difficult about installation. Once you have it in one hand and the axial tranny in the other, it's pretty straightforward the way they need to be asembled together. The unit comes preassebled, but you need to open it (3 bolts) to install it on the back of the tranny. The tranny needs to opened too, swapping one of the stock alu outputs for the steel HR one, and reassembling alltogether tranny and dig with the supplied longer bolts. It's that easy. I can't compare on the DNA unit as I never had one in my hands, but from the pics it looks easy too.

I have both the DNA and HR dig and can say both work but I prefer the HR dig for it's simpicity and size for fitting in smaller chassis. Though the HR dig comes complete with everything to install in a stock Axial chassis even comes with the radio plate with servo mount holes predrilled Pics in a Bender SWX ![]()
