Default Which motor, Integy 35t or Novak 55t ?

I'm trying to decide on a motor for my AX10 kit. I already have a Novak 55, but I hear that sometimes it's too slow? Would I be better off going with a Integy 35t ?

I would go with a Nice Handwound motor. The Integy is not handwound. Myself and Holmes hobbies carry nice Handwounds. If your on a budget. Run that thing on a 3 cell Lipo and you'll get wheelspeed and power.

i enjoy the wheel speed the 35T gives.
then again, im not on lipo so i wouldnt know anything about
wicked wheel speed.

in my trail beater blazer, (cr01) i run a chrome 27T axial motor.
only cause chrome is faster than flat white or black.

you gotta remember, more wounds=more tourqe / less speed, and less wounds = more speed less tourqe.

Untrue. My 35T Handwounds have more torque then any Inetgy motor. No matter what turn it is.

im w/ run2jeepn

go w/ a high quality handwound they are higher in price but the pay off in performance is well worth it

im using a hh pro hand wound 35t and i gotta say this thing is amazing great low end control, great amount of wheelspeed for a brushed crawler and i may be wrong on this one but it feels like i have a lot more torque w/ the hh 35t than my original novak 55. (*dont have the equiptment to veryify , im just goin by how it performs)

Yes, a nice handwound will have more torque than a machine wound.

Between the two you are asking about, it boils down to the wheelspeed you want. 35t is quite popular. I enjoy the speed, but a 55t on 3s is quite nice too. The Novak motors are the same as integy, so an even comparison can be made between the two.

i wouldnt support Integy, they do nothing but sell stuff to you. they dont have a warrenty, they dont have any Customer Support, and they blatently steal Quality designs and knock them off in their chinese manufactureing plant and sell their knockoffs for 1/2 of what the part they knocked off sells for. now that may save you money now, but a yr from now, you may not be able to buy the "REAL DEAL" parts as the company is out of business cuz everyone bought the integy version cuz it was cheaper.

buy a good motor from a respectable mnf and good seller and dont look back. Integy is ok if your dead ass broke, other than that, all they really do is kill innovation and new part supplys form REAL manufactures.

Integy is one of the few companies that bring in motors anymore. Name your brand, and chances are they are using integy motors. The only exception is the handwound motors that JP customs and myself carry. Integy as a company may be shady, but for motors it is your option for the most part.

The p-94 will be very close to the Ti based motor, but we will see how they dyno. Armatures webs are the same, comm is a bit smaller, and the can is vented. RPM may be a touch higher but overall power should be almost identical. I will have spare brushes and springs.

On a 35t motor you would be good to have a 3s lipo with 40 amps continous available.
