my truck was a bit jerky at random times with a traxxas radio setup and the rooster crawler...ive switched to a futaba radio and it seems to have cleared up almost 100%

so it's an RTR?
i was using a airtronics blazer and a LRP runner in my rig but sense the dig unit went in i have a tq3 and it seems to work very well.
my super now has the blazer and a rooster crawler.

I'm having the same type of problem with my rig, I'm running the Novak Rooster Crawler ESC, Novak 55 turn motor, and an Airtronics MX-3 FM radio. At very low speeds I get a jerky glitch, but it olny seems to happen every few minutes and is kind of random. I've changed my freq crystals, re-routed the wiring, moved the receiver to a different location away from the ESC and motor, all with no change.

My RTR did did that too. have you played with the trim and throttle position? i got mine to work pretty good eventually then I bought a rooster crawler setup.

I had this problem when I went to my Castle Mamba Max. Went with an M11 with Specktrum SM1000 and never looked back.

I would also put a smaller spur gear a 9t. I think with the RTR is comes with a 14t and I am not on the other one. That will also help with the jerkiness of the truck

I am having the same issue with my rtr with all stock electronics. After rerouting the wiring and moving the receiver it was still happening. I did notice that mine is more jerky when i have the wheels turned and the steering servo is under load. I've read that certain servo's can cause interference with cheaper radio's. I ordered a dsm spektrum radio/receiver. Hopefully it helps.
