The bushing things at the fluid cap?

I just use stripped off wire insulation.

Not sure but the rubber bushings help it to have more flexiblity and not bind.

I've tried fuel line but everything I could get my hands on was 1/4 or bigger and wouldn't fit.

Kinda hack...

Allows it to bunch up on either side of the shock cap and slip out. The hole inside the tube is already under 3mm. I've used it in a pinch before but the wire insulation is perfect. For losi shocks with the huge holes I bet fuel line would be a perfect fit.
