I've been noticing a lot of popping coming from the rig, and finally determined that it was that upper rear link ball popping through both sides whenever the rig put any load on (basically other than flat-ground) - is this normal? It seems to be getting worse...? Anything I can do to fix it, short of abandoning the 3-link for a 4-link setup in the rear? Thanks!

If you really don't want to 4 link it or replace the mount, you can take fuel tubing or some washers and put them on both sides of the ball cup so the link can't slide back and forth. I had the same issue with the stock links and upgraded to aluminum and they wore out quickly too. Your best bet is to 4 link it and then you wont have that problem anymore. Plus with a rear 4 link you suspension will work alot better and help with torque twist.

This will solve your problem http://www.tcscrawlers.com/On-Sale-1...g-p-16523.html but if ur not a fan of 4 link then a new mount should fix it.

...Think I'm gonna redo the front upper as suggested in the Stage-2 build, and do a 4-link in the rear like 4RnrRick's. Should be able to kill a few birds there, so to speak. Thanks!

Go 4 link- I like the STRC plates for $6.95 and this link Standard issue: Black/Green Bug Ax-10 About half way down this page you can see where to drill the new holes. Take the side plates off put them together with screws and drill holes at same time. My rear upper links are 3 5/8 inch. Matt
