Upgrade to the FLM SPV2. Of course I am a little partial to the chassis.

Some good links there.

A Dig setup will also make a giant diffrence in competitions. And don't underlook the importance of a good steering servo.

1. Steering Servo (JR 8711 or Hitec 7955TG)
2. Brushless or Puller Motor (Novak Goat or Holmes Hobbies)
3. TCS Boomerang front and back (The Crawler Store)
4. Aluminum Shocks with fuel tubing under shocks (Team Losi)
5. DNA Dig or R2D (DNA or RC4WD)
6. Tires with weights (Losi Rock Claws or Panther)
7. Wheels (Mayhem or Vanquish) Something with adjustibility.
8. MIP or Thunder Tech Driveshafts

I know I missed a few things and I am partial to a few brands

1: 4 link plates
2: Good tires
3: Good Shocks ( the stock ones work, but they aren't the best)
4: split pack battery
5: New Chassis like a SWX or something ( not needed but will improve perormance alot)

Yea chassis is off the chain but really want to work with the stock chassis for now it's easy to just go out and buy a sweet narrow hooked up chassis, but its harder to get a stock chassis to do what a hooked up chassis does.

Am running all STRC hop-ups from the stearing hubs to the rear locked and lower plate and 4 link rear with Y link front. Just have to take it out and try it out on some rocks.

Everyone seems to have covered all the bases with good hop-ups, just thought I would throw the SWX in there for fun . The stock chassis works great. I guess I would suggest upgrading the tires and shocks for starters. And trying to get the cog as low as possible .

Good luck, and have fun with your build.

Aww naw not knocking you for saying to get the SWX lolol, am sure if I get as deep into this hobbie as I am into RC Drifting I will end-up with another chassis and will be fully hopped

Just purchased some Losi Claws, and looking into some shocks now it's just the shocks is probably the hardest thing in this hobbie that I noticed people run like 3 types of shocks and springs on there cars was thinking of going with the Losi, but wanted to play and tweak the stock for a little while and play with some diffrent springs, cause noticed that the stock med, are way to hard so ordered the Axail soft to mix it up and try some diffrent setup's.

I got mine pretty low with some of the tips everyone has told me on this site has been very helpful I got it to a little below legal high for comp. but trying to get it a little lower am hopeing the springs will help.

Thanks for the good luck,
