| Bent front battery and servo plate?
I see a lot of guys running bent servo plates up front to lower the center of gravity. At least I believe that's there reasoning. Does anyone know of any vendors working on a plate like this? I hate to admit it, but I need a bolt on piece. I don't have the tools to fab up a piece. If I had a drill press and a bandsaw that would be one thing. Unfortunately my cordless drill and hacksaw won't give me the finished look I appreciate from our vendors and don't mind paying for. |

I bent mine becasue my lipo battery is too thick and it rubbs with the body so I bent it to allow for more articulation. the servo side of it is already low enough.

theres nothing that a metal file and some sandpaper cant fix. but if your looking for a prefinished setup. just get the axial battery plate and bend it in a vice yourself. cant be that hard. if you dont have a vice, take a 2x4 and cut a slot in it and use that as leverage to bend the plate "if you build it, it will crawl" | |
