Default Dig & Battery Tray...

Dig-
What are a couple of the best dig units on the market? I have heard that some have problems with stripping gears excessively.

Battery Tray-
What are the hazards with losing the battery tray? My battery sits on my axels and I am going to relocate my ESC to a tray on my upper front links. I have replaced the stock skid plate/tranny mount with an aluminum one.
One more...
I'd like to put my RX (3PM) next to my ESC, I know with AM radios this is inviting glitching, is this ok to do with 2.4ghz?

Thanks.

I was wondering this myself. Seems like it would serve a useless purpose if your not going to use it. Would there be any flex issues?

I run a DNA dig, and it works perfect. I have not tryed any other dig unit's. Do a search on dig's to see what other's like. Get rid of that battery mount. This will not cause any harm to strength. Less weight up top the better.
