Default Air Hogs LiPo Battery pack use w/ AX10

Hey guys,
I have a bunch of LiPo battery packs from my Air Hogs Storm Launcher. I was wondering if I can wire these things to use on my stock Scorpion. They are 7.4V, 740MAH. I was thinking of wiring a couple of pairs in series, and then wiring the pairs together in parallel. Anyone know if this will work? Thanks for any help.

parallel would be fine but unless you have an esc that can handle 4c lipo's going series will kill your esc. Other than that I would say go for it.

Would you be able to charge and balance them if you do that?

He would if he didn't hard wire them but used a "jumper" to plug them into.

Ahh, I'd like to see how it works out. I'd also like to know what esc your going to use.

What C rating do they have? I would be afraid of pulling too much juice and popping them. If they are all in parallel you should get a slightly higher mah and C rating though.

But that would be a combined C rating while each pack would still only be discharging its regular current. Putting the packs in parallel would increase the mAh rating however much each pack is. 4 packs each at 740 mAh would yeild a 2960 mAh total.

I'm new to all of this, so please excuse my ignorance, but what do you mean by a "jumper"? I have a Prophet Plus charger, and I'm not sure if it will work for LiPo. If I wire these toghether, I won't be able to use the Air Hogs chargers either.

They don't have any C rating on them, that I can see. How can I know? Also, I have a stock ESC in the rig right now, but I think I will be getting a Rooster Crawler soon. Thanks a TON for all of your input. It is greatly appreciated!
