Default Ares build

Need to get a servo extension cord and some battery velcro straps to finish up a few things but here it is so far. Any comments or advise on it? About to start doing comps here so building this rig vs my bashers.

Other than tightenting the nuts on your rear shock mount bolts.....:-P it all looks pretty good. Where did the skid plate come from under the motor? That looks pretty cool.

Are you running a body?

Thanks guys. I got some more screws at lowes so I can replace the rear axle bolts so they match, thats why they weren't tight in these pics. Also need to order velcro battery straps for the batterys.

My onlt other concern is the speed controller on the motor. I need a extension for the steering servo to be able to put it anywhere else. Can't imagine the heat from the motor being good for the ESC????

Oh, and the skid is the one that comes with the Ares chassis. It is one of the main reason I went with this chassis was the center channel down the skid and the way the skid went under the chassis plates.
