There seems to be a good enough interest in a tuber sticky but perhaps it's own topic would be best. I think it would be best since there's so many out there that are more than just AX based. How bout it mods? Can you make a "tuber" catigory?

there is so much information when it comes to building a proper tube chassis that the "sticky" thread would be about 20+ pages long, 40+ pages if they included all the misinformation.

there will be no "tuber section" because tubers are categorized by which axles they use.

if you are looking to build your own chassis, I suggest you snuggle up with the search button and have at it, you will find out for yourself the amount of information (both good and bad) is immense.

IMO the best way to learn to build a chassis, is to get some rod, some braze and a torch and go at it.

Look in the tools and procedure forum and read over the sticky on how to build a tuber. Videos, pictures, everything is there.

Basically, any rc vehicle can have tubework on it. No point for its own forum.

Perhaps I was mis understood, but I was only suggesting that since there's so many of them being built that a specific spot for them would be nice. I know how to "SEARCH" for the info on builds, we're currently working on building 1 of 6 tubers for the "Active Kids" program and with all the info out there in different areas I thought "IMO", that it's own catagory made sense. Hence the "POLL", to see what the interest would be.

I agree, having a sticky in the general forum would give you a place to see what and what not to do without snuggling up with the search button for hours. There are tons of threads on tubers here and it would be nice to have them all in a dedicated sticky or even sub forum.

I'd like to see a tubers section. There's a scale section...I think tubers deserve their own too.
