Cool! I guess those tire chains bite really well in the snow!

Have you tried any kind of lube to keep the tires from loading up?

You should get a different spare tire, those Slash tires don't work well in the snow. j/k

I really like the truck.

I just put my winters on. I have the masher 2000's with no weight all the way around and similar custom tire chains on all 4 corners too. I went with an old lexan power wagon lid to keep the weight down in the snow. The first couple storm were great for crawling and trail riding (in the snowshoe tracks around the yard. And those snowbanks the plow leaves behind...wow do you get some technical crawling runs from them.

Nice rig,

M

I would be interested to see how the duals were done too. I have been thingking about that for a while. I don't think it would crawl to well but it sure looks cool.

My ries always load up on snow when I drive in the white stuff. I was wondering if anyone had tried any kind of oil or compund that would reduce the snow's ability to stick in the tire treads.

Here is my xtrail bronco in the snow. I waterproofed everything with plastidip and dielectric grease. I have a set of chains for this but in the fluffy stuff they dont work as well.
