sorry no springfield,mass. Where we are about to have the highest gas tax in the nation just to pay for a huge hole under Boston called the "big dig". jerks.

do you mean..., mirroring the tranny? So the motor is on passenger side front?

yes, I hear it is to prevent tork twist? is it necessary? will i see the difference? I'm still trying to pick out a electronics package for the axial. something not to nuts. on a budget. untill i sell the stampede vxl then i can spend that money. (wife says so)

i mirrored my tranny and i noticed a big difference , there is almost no torque twist (except when going in reverse)

hey, im new to the "crawler scene" as well. own a t-maxx but looking to build a scaler using the ax10. ive done a little research and was hoping i could get input on the setup im thinking of running. and would i need a bec? (castle creations bec)... what receiver should i use with the tq3?

either the ax10 kit or artr:
integy 55t lathe motor
castle creations sidewinder esc
tower pro mg995 servo
traxxas tq3 transmitter
7.4v lipo battery
tcs x-trail chassis
rc4wd mudslingers 1.9

Welcome to crawling, I use a traxxas 3 channel receiver with my tq3, the 3rd channel is used for the dig unit. There are a couple of threads about converting the 2 position switch on the tq3 into a 3 position switch so you can use it for dig or rear steering. Have fun going slow

i have done it with my tranny that i have now and I am selling. I am selling cause i dont need it due to it not working with dna dig if it is mirrored.

I think it makes a little bit of diff but not as much as i thought. but concept wise to torque twist i think it does help.

OK. so I've noticed that some crawlers do not have springs on the shocks? is this something new? are there springs inside?
