Locked Up's forward mounted dig servo mod

I upgraded to a DNA CFX Slingshot (from the SS one). While I was looking at the lexan servo mount in the rear, I got to thinking. Why not lower the servo AND move it to the front? Here is the result of my pondering:

It functioned flawlessly at it's first comp yesterday. I'll have a parts list and some cleaned up pictures later.

Thanks to Axial for helping me with the rebuild!

That is a good mod, If I go to a full size servo for my dig on the SWX, it will be much like that. You're not the first to do it, but is still a good idea. Nice build also "thumbsup"

It'll be a lot harder on a SWX Gunnar, the slingshots length is what allows this to be done with out much fuss. Still doable but I think it will end up higher in the chassis than the way we have them tucked down in the back of the chassis right now.

Just wanted to update that this has been working great. having the servo a little farther away has lessened the change in the angles on the linkage and I haven't missed a shift since i did this. I'm very, very pleased with the whole thing.
