Gonna have to see if I can make it up there this sat. don't count me out just yet some things came up that I have to take care of. But yea today am putting the finishing touches on the wireing and the DIG. And then I have to start preping diffrent foam setup's to see what works good, good thing is I really only have to tune the rear tires. with the pink memory foam there were just way too soft so gonna try the stock panther foam with axial lizard sidewalls to see how it works out. |

this rig is ugly!!! lmao. good stuff. those stands are badass. lol. btw guys im minis boy. we live in miami and have pretty much identical rigs. we went out sunday but them tires are no joke. were gonna do some foam setups this weekend cuz the rear buckles too easy and the rig locks up. we have the same rims so were just gonna try everything out on his rig to see what works then try it on my rig to see what works cuz our suspension is slightly different. good job mini. I AM THE STANDS BUILDER. lol is it sunday yet?? |

I love your home made double reverse triangulation skid mod. Way to think outside the box. We will have to refer to that as the mini mod.

UPDATE: Well finally got some parts I was waiting for from RC4WD and RCP and RPP. For my comp build had one huge problem every time I would go out to test run, the link's would pop out of the plastic ends so made a little order from RC4WD and got there metal end's straight and curved love them. Also extened the top of the shocks a bit with bigger spacer's Swiched the stock losi white shocks to red huge diffrence. Running Losi 42 weight oil also huge diffrence. Got rid of the bent steering end's and made them straight great turn radius and now the tire's hit befor the steering bar also thanks to the vanquish high steering knuckels. ONly had to mod the servo arm a little to clear the lower bar. Was running parallel top links but felt was not really feeling it were they were set so got some 6x91 to push the rear up a little more and give my axel more angel also. Here are some pics of the new hop-ups on the rig. Last edited by Mini; 03-25-2009 at 11:10 PM. |

That Novak on-off switch is heavy, better move it under that motor. Lower COG! Nice build Mini.

Update: Ok did some change in my steering as you can see my knuckles are now alot higher up than befor, Trying some diffrent springs and also postion on were the spring were located brought the front ones ina little and the rear also. Lowered my COG just a little under 2.75 So decide to try some diffrent linkage setup also the set-up I had befor did not have enough articulation and chassis was really stiff here are the the reposition of top and lower links. My next update will have the new axail gearing and novaks tunned rotor. |
