drive shaft prob........ just wondering if there is a quick easy fix to the drive shaft coming apart at the ujoint style piece on the shaft....thanks |
You can use zip ties as a ghetto way of keeping them on. Or get some of these: http://www.tcscrawlers.com/Axial-Rac...1-p-17288.html Or spend some coin and upgrade your shafts. |
You and get the Traxxas part #1953 they work. Use 2 males and cut the end off the female and install. I like the MIP drive shafts the best. Matt |
ok thanks for the input i already done the ghetto fabulous way with the zip tie and it still pops off....may just look into mip shaft if i can be patient enough to order and wait on them. |
you can always buy jato shafts , they fit on without mod and are super strong |
I would go with the MIP's. Almost bulletproof. |
mips are bombproof."thumbsup" they will solve ur problem. |
i run stampede shafts with a goat brushless and have had no trouble at all with the shafts. you can get a bag of 6 or so sets for right around 10 bucks, but I'm still on my first set |

I love my MIP's for sure! No more traxxas or axial. However, i like the axials a little for scale build. |
or a set of t-maxx shafts with a few alterations to make them work... |
I really like the MIP's on my other R/C stuff but, this time I tried these shafts from jun fac a little less expensive and have not had one problem. "thumbsup" http://www.junfac.com/shop/index.php...roducts_id=254 |
The Junfac one's look like an exact copy of MIPS. Anyone know if the splines run all the way up, as opposed to the MIP's way? Could be easier to cut them down to use for DIG's |
