| RC4WD Axial XVDs Testing!!!
I torque tested the Axial XVDs today . 35t motor on 2 cell lipo (3cell later) I broke no pins and the ends held up. Unfortunately the plastic hub didnt hold or the locker Somethings got to give I guess. I never got a chance to test for bends or breaks due to the locker and hub. Check the small video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxktKgi_9D0 Didnt take long at all to strip that hex and locker . |

Are you going to run them in a well built axle ? Good spool and Alum hexes , that will tell more about their durability .

Unfortunately I have to leave for E.C.C. Thursday and wont be able to receive parts, repair, and test until afterwards. :-( Those hexes are old for sure. And I believe the locker is stock. The drivers side did hold up to me binding it so I figure I will have the same results if I install harder hex and locker material | |
