Default Hot racing shocks.......please help me to set them

I am having problems with hot racing 120mm shocks. I am running on medium soft in front and hard on back.........the problem is that the body of the crawler seems to tend to lean always on one side and remain leaned on the same side. It seems that the shocks of one side do not or take time to open back in position. Please can any one give any suggestion. I am not inclined to change the shocks cause they give excellent articulation and crawling performance except this fact.........thanks to everybody for your help in advance

so what your saying is..

if the trucks on flat ground and you push down on it, one side takes alot longer to come up??

would it happen to be the side that your motor is on?

I use hard springs in the rear with about 8 mm of preload spacers in them to take care of that.

To tell all the truth i gave it try with petrolium jelly and for the first two runs it was ok..but than it seemed that everything went back to square one.........but the funny thing that it does this tilting always on the same side and yes on the motor side.....should i put counterweights on other side?

its probably tilting cuz of the motor, swtich your shock side for side, if it still leans the same way then it may be one of those things you have to live with. i wouldnt worry about adding conter weights, thats just goin to put more weight up high where you dont want it.

Petroleum jelly probably isn't your best bet. Many of the o-rings used in the shocks are petroleum based rubber. The petroleum jelly you used will eat at the seals if in that is case. The associated green slime was made from the get go as a shock sealant as well as a thick lube to make shocks smoother. seriously give the green slime a try like ol dirty dirt said.
