ok i have a couple of ?? so far. i have my truck torn apart and i am ready to start installing my dig. I basically have it "together" but have not really tightened all of the screws. question 1: do i have to use locktite on the drive cog? i used it on my drive shafts and the set screws stripped when i tried to take them out. and i ended up drilling them out so now that is another problem! question 2: is it ok to use the tamiya ceramic grease instead of regular grease? i had a couple of tubes so... question 3: i have a goat system, orange, yellow and blue wires. it says to reverse 2, which 2 do i reverse? they are labeled on the motor A(blue) b(yellow) and c (orange) i think thats it for now...i have to get some sleep!

I would use loctite on the cog. I did and haven't had any problems. You will want to use blue loctite and not the red. That grease should be fine. I use the associated black grease and it works great. On the motor just pick two wires and change them. If that doesn't do what you want change another combo. They just want you to make sure your motor is running in the proper way before you hit the gas and go full throttle backwards. HTH

You do not have to switch the wires on the goat. You can set it up so the motor runs the opppsite way in the settings. Look in your paper work, it tells you how to do it.

I'd advise using locktight (blue) on your cog. My set screw has tired backing out before, but not since using locktight! Just swapping wires is all I've done to correct motor rotation. Some brushless motors don't even show different colors or labels, so hook them up and run it, then swap as needed.

Like everyone has said the blue locktight is the way to go. The grease I went Discount auto parts and got a tube of grease works perfect just don't over do it with the grease. And am running a goat and never had to switch and cable's or switch my the reverse or foward on my remote but my trani is mirror so thats probably why.

i would definitely rather do a little programming than to start soldering on the motor and or speed control.

With my Mamba Max I use (3) 4mm bullet connectors between the ESC and motor, so switching wires for me is really easy to do... Plug and Play! | |

well i the dig mounted t the tranny and everything seems to be working up to that point. Now i have to do some mods to get it to fit in my stock chassis. all of my links seem to be in the way of the dig or drive shafts.,i guess this will lead to changing a few more things.,
