Default Fuse's AX10 ARTR

Hey guys. Some of you might know me because I have asked a few questions lately. I bought an artr scorpion about a week ago and have been messing with it. I have not done any comps yet but I am just setting it up for it. I am going to document my build here. I will get some pictures up when I get home. But otherwise just bear with me here cause I am fairly new to crawling. Here are the upgrades and thanks everyone for the help.

Castle sidewinder esc
Castle BEC
Hitec 5625MG
Futaba 3pm fasst system
8 different lipos (four 3s packs and two 2s)
axial super soft springs
17 oz of total weight in the wheels
lowered the body
sandblasted lower links
softened the tires
inboarded the lower links
swaped out the junk plastic nuts, working on the ball end balls next
mirrored transmission (which does not help worth shit )
removed battery tray, mounted electronics on the 3 links
40wt shock oil

There might be a few more things that I will remember later :-P.
Also I am going to get these parts:
4 link for the rear
4 link battery plate for the front (not going to use the 4 link at first though, going to try different things, keep the 3 link up front to mount my electronics to)
delrin skidplate

Cya guys later, pictures up in a couple hours.

4 linking the rear will help the torque twist quite a bit. Be sure to ditch the spacer on the chassis when you do.

Where and how much did weight did you put in each tire?

1/2" of fuel tubing on each rear shock shaft will also help.

Those link plates for your gear are super easy to build with some basic tools. Much cheaper, and you can move your links around anywhere you want without having to worry if the plates will fit...

By spacer I think you mean spacers right? like the ones that are on the opposite end of the upper links, the side not by the axle?

I put 2.5 oz in each rear tire and 5 in each front. Then I added 1 oz to the axle just for the hell of it.

I could build the plates but I am getting some for a pretty good deal so why not.

Yeah, the little orange ones. They need to go bye-bye. Actually, you can reuse them when you go with the 4-link. I used them to lenthen the upper links.

Here's my thread...

Do you have to get longer set screws when you put the spacers in the links?

Not really. I pulled the rod end off, unscrewed the screw out aways, added the spacer, and reinstalled the rod end. I haven't dropped it off of any high buildings yet, but they are holding up fine.
