Default my axial artr bulid

im some what new at the crawling thing. about a month or so ago i picked up a artr from a buddy at work that never used it. i brought it home put a 45 turn motor, a duratrax blast speed contlor and im using the tq3 set up.
my 1st time wheeling it i went to hobby town in concord best place so far. highly recomend going.
i met a few guys there, they helped alotttt, i was running all stock with medium springs in rear.and some traxxas springs in front. then i was talking to minor threat and he told me to go droop so i went and bought meduim inner springs and 100 wt all the way around. with droop and stock chassis it sat way low, i took fuel line and stuck it on the shock shaft (out of shock body), then called up minor and asked some questions.
he said i need a new chassis i was looking around at hobby town. didnt rele like the tubers, he said he made chassis and he sells parts i went strat to him looked at it and liked it. bought it went to the hobby town crawl on thursday and had it all put to gether and running be the end of the night. it is a sweet chassis its his older model alittle changes to make it comp legel but it is way worth it. has may diffrent holes for geomatry to play with. way better then the tubers at hobby town becuse ur kinda stuck to one geomatry.

with this new chassis all i had to buy were 6x65 uppers front and rear. some 3m srcews all diffrent lenths.
its was all about 30 bucks to get the chassis to work with what i have.
ive had it alitte less then a week and i have not found one bad about this chassis so far. over this week ill take it to the test to see if there are any bads.
im thinking there wont be any.

this build is a huge thanks to racer's edge machine

That chassis is available at Racers edge machine. Just ask them about the grounhaug chassis.

Otis, tha't awesome looking, in the rocks there, sweet! once you get rid of that stick pack, lmk, i'll cut some panels for you. How's that articulation? I hope to have more cross bars soon.

I keep coming back to look at the shots of the rocks, nice crawling! and a great read on the build up, way to go!
what do your wheels weigh? What servo are you running? SOrry to hear it broke! those rocks have claimed a lot of ankles but probably not a servo, hope you can get it fixed. just awesome to see that you made that sharp right turn past that one rock...i almost always roll that spot.

nice write up. do you still have the velcro straps? once you get the skid and panels, this will be a sweet ride indeed. Can't wait to see you driving it.

You will LOVE them
Nice looking rig man, I am liking all the new body-less chassis popping up. Simple, light alternative to a tuber.
