Decided that since I was in an actual hobby store while comping Saturday (been nearly a year since I've set foot in one) that I'd drop some coin, just for old times sake. Grabbed some soft Rovers, some desperately needed shock oil, a Hitec servo, and a new Rockstar body. Here's a late night teaser pic...I'll get more tomorow when there is better light. |

It was overcast and/or raining nearly all day today, but I managed to grab a few pics when the sun popped out for a bit...color is competition orange, black, and indy silver. The hood emblem was a very light coat of silver, followed by another light coat of orange, and finished with more silver. Gives it a flip-flop effect between the two colors, depending on how you're looking at it. Simple, but good. I just don't have the patience for drawn out paint jobs anymore. I'm also loving the Rovers. Such a huge difference from what I've run so far. Last edited by Duuuuuuuude; 04-27-2009 at 07:59 PM. |

Thanks guys. I was kinda shocked how pale that body made the orange ARTR stuff look. Maybe its time to de-anodize and polish... |
