| Quick Question
I just got a axial off ebay. It was set up for rear steering. Can someone give me the part number for the Rear Threaded rod pieces to lock out the rear axle. THANX |

I would just put the rear lockouts on it and be done with it. Heres the links to the plastic and aluminum axial ones. http://www.tcscrawlers.com/Axial-Rac...0-p-16815.html http://www.tcscrawlers.com/Axial-Rac...4-p-16817.html Last edited by See65; 04-29-2009 at 07:25 PM. Reason: spelling |

with those you also need the metal straight axles aslo. I figure it will be cheaper right now to just get the threaded pieces.

I would do the straights as well. I dunno how much the threaded peices are but why not just get the straight conversion and be done with it. I have the plastic lockouts on mine to save money and they are holding up really well. I'm sure someone would probably give you the threaded peices if you really wanted them.

yes you would need new rear axles either way, AX30421 is the part number for them and they run about $20 for the pair of straight axles. http://www.tcscrawlers.com/Axial-Rac...1-p-16816.html |

A small piece of flat stock with holes in both ends and screwed would be easy to make. Those ball end lockouts always like to pop off when you dont want them too. In the long run the straight adaptors and axles are the way to go and you instantly have a back up set of parts for the front!
