Unhappy newbie in crawling with a (braking?) problem.please help.

ok leme say first that im new on the forum as well as in crawling.i have 3 other models, all nitro.this is my first electric.ok,on to the problem.i got a new scorpion artr yesterday.im using the novak rooster combo.esc and 55 t brushed motor.the radio is spectrum dx3.0the problem im having is that when i climb the truck up a slope it seems to be slipping backwards.as if its not braking when it should be braking.it doesent do it all the time but its often enough to notice it.it does the same thing when i try to climb a wall.like, if i start climbing with the front wheels and stop while its standing on two it stays like that.if i press slightly to go backwards to lower it a little bit, instead of braking when i go to neutral on the radio, it continues to back down till it goes flat again.i have no clue as to what it could be.anyone have any suggestions?could it be a setting on the tx that im missing?or the brushes?could they need changing already?i played with it for like 4-5 hours yesterday but i didnt notice that thing till last night before i went to bed.please help guys.thank u.
ps,this happens both when i go reverse or forward.but the annoying bit is when i go reverse cause if i wanna tackle an obstacle and wanna back down a bit,i cant.it might do it,or it might come all the way down.so i dont have alot of control....

try adjusting you th. trim until you get strong brake in fwd and rev. This is likly your problem because the rooster does not have an adjustable drag brake,so it definatly your tx

thank u for ur response.im prety sure that the settings on the tx are a bit "off" but im still not completely familiar with the options in the menu.i only recently turned to 2.4ghz so im prety sure with a few adjustments ill get the right setup.i also reprogramed the esc just now and that seems to have solved the problem.ill have to play with it abit more and see what happens.
