I have the cdw 1.0, which is the short shock version of LS2.0 Use's the same skid I believe and it easily is under 2.5" wide with the side plates. I lvoe this thing. Being that i am running losi 4" shocks, I should have gone with the 2.0 but opted to limit my shocks by 1/2" and run the lower profile chassis. you really can't go wrong with it.

The chassis is 2 3/8th inches wide all bolted together. So far I like mine a lot.
