Well...that depends what you're comparing it to ;)

It's planted, the diminutive dimensions allow for some pretty tight lines to be pulled, and the CG is nice as well...it side hills beautifuly.

I much prefer this chassis over my Warthog, but that was a fairly planted rig also.

Compared to some of my buddies TVP chassis, I'd say that there is an advantage on certain lines with the Eclipse, but the argument for TVP over Tuber is a heated one...I personaly prefer tubers and have never run a TVP or bodied set up so I can't give you a solid opinion on that aspect.

I've driven a few that are extremely well set up and capable, but I'll still choose a tube chassis over a TVP any day of the week

I hate to dig this thread from the past...But, this thing is awesome! I do have a question why did you go with RCP internal springs rather than the ones TCS offers?

Glad you dig it, and thanks.

I run them in my Super...had a second set, and I like the rate

Great thread, really made the decsion to buy very easy. The guys at TCS have just received my order for a chassis, skidplate, 4 link plate, springs etc. that will get my tuber dream up and running.
we've plenty of rockery here in Northern England and am really looking forward to seeing a difference in performance from a nicely specced artr, especially with regard to CG.
Hope they pack it nice and warm that chassis is in for a climate shock , here on the top of the Pennines the rain is lashing down and we've 80mph gales!

Cool, thanks.

The ARTR will be a solid platform for the swap, and you'll dig the chassis

Just one quickie that I shot at the end of my last outing at a Dam that we frequent. Nothing insane, just a nice little vert that I wanted to try.

I've torn down the Eclipse for it's winter overhaul, and I'll be sure to post some decent footage up in the Spring.

Damn I thought you might have some vid of the little vert you and I were trying to climb at the dam. I may need to head back this week with the new Rovers to give it a try.
