Default Don’s Custom DNA R/C Billet Slingshot

Well, this all started with a full set of orange anodized DNA R/C Slingshot components (and other parts) and some sand paper…the rest…is in the pics. The anodizing is pretty tough to sand off, but once I started getting the edges done, creating a two-tone finish, I just had to do more. Rings and upper link/servo mounts still need to be finished. GC is set at just over 2.25" currently and has my preferred amount of articulation.

Specs:

DNA R/C orange anodized Slingshot kit
DNA R/C orange anodized motor plate
DNA R/C orange anodized Dig Unit
DNA R/C black Snipers with orange Sniper face rings
Axial AX-10 axles and trans
Axial HD lockers
Losi short front buggy shocks setup droop
HB White Rovers
NWT Reach/Squat foams – front/rear
More to come…

Don

Don that sure looks sweet! Man I remember when I got my first Associatied Team car with the black anodized chassis. We filed and polished the edges just like that for the custom look. But your not serious unless you take all the black steel screws and sand and polish all the heads. Back then we didn't have access to stainless steel screws. So we went through alot of mothers wheel polish and time. Man was it time consuming but well worth the final results.

WTF! You start doing Orange and don't tell me? That's just plain messed up!

I have been running these flimsy Axial rings I had to drill out to get the orange on mine. Your phone is ringing right now so I can yell at you in person as well!

Hey Harley! My wife wants to know where I could score one of those windshield banners. She thinks I need one for my rig.

hey Harley, who cuts your decals? I have a decal guy but maybe if someone is more affordable I'll give them a shot.

Wish I could share the source, it's a friend of a friend, $10 a square foot no matter how much is on it. Have to weed it out yourself though.
