After driving my friends 1:8 scale I want to go with larger tire on my ax10. Is anyone running a larger series tire and can I see some pics. Is a 40 series to much for these axles after upgrades?

To much. If you upgrade the lockers, gears and drive shafts along with the tranny out puts, you can run maxx size wheels and tires. TONS of options there.

If your wanting bigger tires than I would sugest TXT axles and a beefed up trany. Even after all the upgrades for the axial axles they wouldn't hold up to the task of bigger tires.

Also you are going to want to stretch the links out. But why would you want to do this to an AX10. Are you going to make it more super scalish or super comp?

Its just for messing around in the yard. I'm building a 1:8 scale and will comp that. This was just to try some lines on my coarse that the break over angles and climbs were past the stock size. I'm only 15 mins. from cougar butts so we have plenty of lines down there to run.
