What dig unit is the best for an ax10, with the least amount of mods. And can I still run nimh batt on batt tray

If you come to a conclusion let me know as well. I don't have the slightest clue!

The DNA dig has been a good unit for allot of guys for a long time now.

Eritex has a very slick little dig unit out now. Sounds like a very solid unit that seems to work well.

Vanquish Products has also got a new dig unit out. Looks like a good solid dig with beefy stainless internals.

All three can be found in the vendors section.

I believe either of the three should work for you.

They all have servo mounts that mount off the rear of the trans/dig that mounts the servo lower.

But I am not 100% sure if it will still clear the battery tray on top of the chassis?

Not if you assembled your truck by the book. You could just flip your body around.

I very pleased with my Eritex HRD. It's small, works flawlessly for me and it's not a pressure plate set up like the majority of the digs currently on the market.
