Hey, i have an ax10 rtr and i would like to upgrade the links to aluminium. e.g: http://rcpcrawlers.com/product.php?p...&cat=29&page=1 with that, it says Axial AX10 RTR (Ready to Run) owners, this is a very economical way for you to change your kit's plastic suspension links to aluminum links. You will only need 3x14mm set screws, and rod ends + ball links to complete your conversion to aluminum links for your RTR. 20% could someone please show me where these things are? or if there is an easier way to upgrade to aluminium? the main things im after is steering linkages and suspention links, preferable 30* angle

A couple of these: http://www.tcscrawlers.com/Traxxas-R...2-p-16324.html is probably what you need. The set screws can also be bought from TCS: http://www.tcscrawlers.com/TCS-Long-...6-p-16325.html

Hit up R2j, he makes some very nice (and cheap) delrin links, which will slide over rocks much better than aluminum. I think they also come with revo rod ends and 4mm set screws, which is a much stronger setup. I would advise them over aluminum ones any day Getting to know R2j Kustoms

I would rather buy the Traxxas rods than the stock Axial stuff. The Traxxas rod ends are stronger. But as 'chrisjlittle' writes, Delrin is your absolutely best choice.

no matter what you choose it is a HUGE improvement over those flexy plastic links. I went with the red Axial links and the hardware kit and they were beautiful for the first 20 minutes I had them. After my first test they were all scuffed to hell. Go derlin they will slide better and you dont have to go through the agony of watching your new links get wrecked.

The hardware kit includes the set screws, the balls that go in the rod ends, the rod ends and some miscellaneous parts that happen to be on the trees. Not a different chassis but the rtr has plastic one piece links while the kit and artr have alum links plastic rod ends and metal balls. That's the difference. I guess that if you buy the color pack link kit and the hardware kit you have a 55 to 60$ investment while some vendors in here sell complete delrin packages for the same amount or even less. Delrin is WAY better than alum. Search for "delrin+links" in the vendors sector and then contact them for what you need. Vendors in here er very helpfull.

The best way is to contact them directly cause even if they don't advertise complete links, they might do you a package deal with everything needed to have a drop in set.

Def go delrin for your links. I just recently switched from Alum to Delrin links and can tell a huge difference in them. I made my own from Delrin rod drilled and tapped with traxxas rod ends. I tappered the ends of the rods to match up to the diameter of the rod ends.

I would highly suggest buying a set of these!http://xtreme-rc-hobbies.net/store/p...roducts_id=206 or another cheaper option I suggest these!http://xtreme-rc-hobbies.net/store/p...products_id=75 both are good options. I would not go with the aluminum as they will hang up on the rocks more and more as they get scratched up.
