Default One of a kind Slingshot

Well i have been playin with the dremel again. I think when i get done i will be happy with it though. About the only major thing i need to do is limit the shocks to 3" so i can stand them up more. Also i need to replace the dig internals, just waitin on the postman. Well here goes i hope you like it.

Do your upper and lower links hit against each other? It looks like at the slightest flex they would hit each other limiting your flex.

These pics are at full flex. As you can see there is not binding and it is smooth all the way to shock bottom.

Some specs. Jato yellow springs front green rear 30wt oil. Out to out of chassie is 2". Also the upper and lower mounts are exactly the same as before i cut it. If you take a stock slingshot and measure the upper links when they are inside it is around 2" at the narowest spot. All the geometry is basicly the same as stock i just have less skid to pull over the rocks. I am at 12.5 wb and i am guessing 3" belly clearance. Stifners will be added after i pull it apart to repaint and get new hardware. Right now i just mocked it up to see if it will work

Yeah your last rig had alot if i remember right. I always stick to about a soda can. Seems to work well after i got used to it. I am still up in the air on what elecs to use and i hate to buy wheels in ax offset when soon it will have berg axles if i like it. I think i may try tekin just for the better drag brake.
