I just recieved my AX10 RTC yesterday and when I went to run it it seemed to be binding uo so I pulled the body off and watched and you could see the drive shaft jumping around. When I checked it out tonight it has one of the big bearings missing on the output inside the trans. I am a little disappointed as this is my first real crawler. I have emaild Axial about it so I hope they will send me one as I should not have to buy parts that are missing when new. Has anyone else had any trouble like this and how is thier customer service? I am just glad I noticed before I did real damage to the trans as it is it only needs the bearing, it just sucks not being able to run my new crawler until I get the bearing.

When I got my SCX10 kit, it was missing a front shock tower. Actually, it came with 3 rear towers and only the left front tower to be exact. I called them up and they asked me to fax my receipt and a copy of the parts layout with the missing part highlighted. I had the right part the next day! I'm sure it helps that I'm local to them. I'm sure they'll take care of you. They threw in some stickers too!

I am happy to report that the parts are on the way. Axial CS does seem to be top notch. I realized it is the same size as the bearings in my Slash tranny so I am tempted to borrow from that so I can try this thing out this weekend. Naturally I did not buy on Monday where I could have gottem the replacment this week.

Good to hear. I was wondering if Axial wanted you to pay the shipping? I had some bad electronics on a RTC I bought and Axial wanted me to pay the shipping for a replacement. Thanks. | |

The email I got just said the parts were on the way. I have been taking the time to make some adjustments and mods I have read about here, anything I can do free as I am broke. Where I will spend my money first is on a new speed control, in the short time I ran before I realized there was a problem I already did not like the stock ESC. I went and raced my SC10 today so that took up my time so I didn't think about not being able to run the AX10.
