Talking The GF's new rig!

So I wanted to get my GF involved with some of my hobbies so we could spend more time with each other. Since I have a rig that I plan to comp with I decided to build her something to come along and play with.

Here is the run down on the rig:
DNA SSS Chassis
Axial Locked Trans w/ slipper
VP Hurts Dig
Axial Axles: Front has HR aluminum knuckles, C's and Axial universals. Rear has Axial aluminum lock outs and steel straight axle shafts. Both axles have "The Solution" aluminum lockers and HD R&P.
Mayhem White Lightning Spider wheels w/ Losi Claws.
HH Cobalt 500 motor
Tekin FXR
Hitec 7955 for steering and 645 for dig
CC BEC
Nomadio React Tx/Rx
TP 1350mah 3s lipo
JConcepts Stage Killa done by Brians Bodies.

Still got a few things to button up like electrical and steering. But its almost done. I also have a set of HPI Rock Grabbers I might throw on there to get a little more ground clearance. But for now going to try it like it sits. Hope she like it

Nice job on the build!
Hope she likes it and we'll see both of you at a comp! Who knows, she may get hooked and then you'll be in trouble! :-P :-P

Hopefully we will be out this weekend testing and tuning. Since this is her first crawler/rc she wont have to relearn how to drive with this chassis. Should be interesting too see how it works out

Thanks for the positive feedback. She likes how it looks but she picked the colors of the parts . Im not too keen on the purple with green color scheme . Well who really cares as long as it crawls good

damn you all with yer DNA SSS Chassis....

That chassis is slowly and surely getting bumped up to the top of my list of things to buy...

I say roll with them colors, it doesnt look that bad...it'll be original for sure, but that Purple with Black would look killer IMO.

oh btw, your girl rules....my wife doesnt want anything to do with my "dirty toy cars":-(

You've got alot of anti-squat dialed into that thing.

Nice rig!

How do you like the Puller 500?

I just bought one and plan to run it on 8 cell saddle packs...must be crazy on the 3s.

So far its an awesome motor. Very good low speed control and really fast. I had to dial it back.

Some completed shots. Will have some action shots this weekend.
