Okay, so I have an SWX chassis, so my space is REALLY limited. I also have a DNA dig system, but the aluminum internals didn't last 5 minutes with my Goat.

I have a SWX chassis and I think the DNA dig would be to big. You may have to re-drill the skid to fit it. I would probaly go with Vanquish dig set up, and if the servo mount that comes with it won't work, I believe a CKRC dig servo mount would work. Plus I also think the VP dig is stronger...

Well the 2 digs you are talking are still fairly new. I was running a SWX with the DNA and there is not much fab work other than somewhere to mount your servo. if you search SWX most guys are mounting the servo the same way. I think the Eritex dig and VP dig look awesome because of their small footprint. If you have the money try one out or do a few searches and see what others think. All three companies are top notch and stand behind their products so I don't think you could go wrong with either of the three. | |

Dude, I'm not some lazy newbie that doesn't know how or doesn't want to take the time to use the search; I have been reading it extensively. I'm asking for opinions from the guys that have/or are familiar with the SWX chassis and these particular dig units so that I can make an informed decision before spending my hard-earned cash. I thought that was supposed to be the whole point of having a discussion forum. Sure, I could continue to read every stinkin' post on digs, but I really don't think anyone but you would expect me to spend the umpteen hours doing so. If your time is so valuable that you can't take a minute to offer some actual help, maybe you're too busy to be on here at all. I'm terribly sorry for having wasted a few seconds of it for you. Thanks for nothing!

Front the discreption of the vp dig on their web site it seems pretty tough, and the design looks sexy and like it functions well too LOL. It doesn't look like a big box! (DNA) plus the looks of he internal's look like a good design. I would probaly go with the vanquish. Don't get a CKRC dig because my colbolt 10t ate it up LOL

I have my VP Hurtz installed.... though have yet to run it. But just from a logical POV, having the lever action seems like it's going to be the ticket and will be better than any slide type of engagement. Just my initial opinion. This is the first dig I have owned so far, and it was the lever that sold me on it over the eritex dig. SS

Agreed, space is tight in the SWX. I just bought a VP dig, but haven't tried to fit it up yet. Just looking at it, it should fit the SWX, as long as you're running a standard motor. HiloDB1 has posted that a puller motor won't fit next to the servo, would probably have to space the mount back some to fit it in. Other than that, it will be difficult to mount the servo with a bolt-in mount.
