Default New to the AX-10 and already love it (pics inside)

Just got it in on a trade and already i love it. It's pretty much stock did alot of crawlin and runnin through water is very fun has a 27t reedy motor might need to trade that in lol and rock lizards. Now uogrades throw em at me but im in a $50 budget zone so let me know. Also if you have some upgrades pm me that i can buy

I would just get a lathe motor for starters and some wheel weights. Lathe=>20$ weights=>3-4$ A battery on the front axle is also a must but wait on it, you might want to go lipo instead of saddle nimh packs. In any case, just drive as much as you can, have fun and try to learn how the rig reacts. If you don't like something search in here for a solution. Take it slow man.

Tires and weights. Also a nice lathe motor would be great for starters.

aluminum links and super soft springs, also a 45 or 55t motor plus what others have said tires with a good foam set up

If you don't want to spend the extra money on a motor right now you can buy a 12T pinion for about $4 and you'll be able to crawl a lot slower. Weighting the wheels is a must if you havn't already and lead sticky weights arn't expensive. I would pick up a 2/3A saddle pack though and some mounts for on the front of the axle.
