So far so good. I like the adjustable drag brake and other settings with the castle link. Once I got the LiPo the rig runs great!

I had trouble with the receiver shutting off with some old batteries. I don't really need it now with the lipo, but since I have it, I have it on there.

Not to bad. Thats a lot of wires everywhere! lol Maybe look into mouting electronics on the axle...I run the SWX also with the electronics on the axle and I can tell a huge difference! |

| Its not too bad how I have it now (its all accessible at least). Later I will probably mount them on the axles since I don't put the batteries there anymore.

Try to mount everything as low as possible to bring that weight down. Just my 2cents. Looks good.

I will put some updated pics when I relocate the electronics later this week. I also like to thank the rccrawler community for helping me get this thing together throughout the build! |

I'm fixing the driveshaft angle now. Do I need to leave the lower links at the shortest setting? |

Thats a lot better. Just make sure that your electronics stay protected from the harsh rocks. Still may want to tighty up your wires. Maybe tape em' and ziptie em... I'm going to post pics of my SWX AX10 later tonight and you can see the way I have my battery, electronics and wiring. |

What you need is longer upper links. Also geometry wise, I would mount the lower links closer to the upper links, like the second hole up for your squat. That will help with your bite and hopping. And it may move your pinion angle too...

bent links are for fags you have a SWX, you are now beyond the bentlink bullshit. they are more trouble than they are worth. search around the forums, this place is chock full of ideas. Lookk at the dudes rigs who are bonafied rc pros. vert few bent links. Bender Designed the SWX with the strait links for good reason.
