| Going to first comp
Was wondering if anyone could give advice on setup. Here is what I have. AX10 RTC that I have changed to AL links with bent in back 4 linked in rear STRC skid plate with links inside chassis Mirrored trans FX-R with stock 55 turn motor (I have a 45t that came with FX-R can change to) 3s 1350 lipo mounted lower but still in middle just above trans (put my stock skid plate in the extra holes in chassis and mounted battery there) Extra 2oz on right front on axle Have the axle monted batery plate with RX and servo on left side with AL steering links. I have the stock PL hammers and wheels and also Flat Irons on PL 8-shooter wheels, both sets have 4oz added to fronts. Every thing else is stock. Any insight and advice would be helpful. Thanks |

put the 45t in try and drop the battery as low as you can. if you have the money buy some hot body rover tires and you should be good |

definately move that battery up front on an axle mounted tray. Besides that, just go to the comp and look at other rigs and see what works. |

Just enjoy yourself and relax. Don't go changing things to much and create an animal you can't drive, best of luck |

Have fun! I'd move the battery to the front and run the 45t as well. There are tons of things you can modify on there for better performance. Is that skid plastic or metal? Plastic will slide better .... |

i would put the 45 turn in and move the batteries. i like the way my work with everything low and close the axle. and the 45 is nice for the little extra bump if you need it.

Have fun, relax, watch what the other drivers do, and ask questions (but not of the guys on course). |
