Those of you who have ran or are running the Eritex dig, what servos have you used?I tried my 645,but it is inconsistant and wont go to same spot when shifted so constantly have to adjust epa's!May just be my servo acted a lil funny when was using for steering also.So what servos have you ran with dig and had good results with?

I have used the Hitech 225BB worked great, less weight, but I'm replacing the gears with metal ones now since the plastic ones stripped out. Currently I'm using a Towerpro 995, "Cheap" and has 202oz of torque. This is overkill for this dig, but for the price, it can't be beat. I will switch back to the smaller Hitech once the gears are replaced just to save some space and weight but it doesn't take much to run Jeramy's dig. Just keep it greased and make the sure the end points, throw, etc. are dialed in well.

i started with a 82mg but burnt it up before i even connected it to the dig, went to a 3305 futuba because i had it for a few days until i got a futuba 9650. the 9650 has worked great and just bolted to his mount plate without servo mounts.

I used a mini Futaba servo (sorry the number escapes me), it was not powerful but was FAST and that was what I was looking for. The Eritex dig doesn't need much force at all to shift so a fast servo just made the setup feel even better. Pair a fast servo with a nice long arm and you have a dig that feels fantastic. |

the 9650 is a mini designed for 1/12 scale oval, fast and small. i run a long aluminum arm also. so my setup is probably the same or very close to the one harley has.

I use a 225mg that originally came off my dna dig. It's been working great. Once the dig's cogs break in the problem you mention will go away.

I started with the 645 on mine and had issues. Went to a cheapy Futaba and those issues went away. I also went and bought some synthetic wheel bearing grease to keep it lubed...that helped alot as well. |

I use a JR DS3421. I really prefer a digital servo for use with digs....I can hear when it is in a bind and ca adjust accordingly before the servo dies. I have never had an issue shifting the Eritex dig with this servo.

I'm using the 225mg and have had no issues (other than a DOA that Hitec replaced). The key to making this Dig flawless is centering your servo and then setting endpoints and polishing all the internals to a mirror finish and grease.
