Sidewinder/45t on 4s I went the Sidewinder after having a number of FXRs for a few reasons. Firstly, it is very smooth off the bottom and secondly, I can run a 4s battery. Running that means I can gear waaay down for torque and fine low speed control, but still have great wheel speed. Only problems is its no where near the size of an FXR, and the drag brake needs improving. Otherwise the HH BR-XL looks very similar and reads very well (perhaps better). Holmes Hobbies TorqueMaster BR-XL and Holmes Hobbies 7turn Cobalt Puller. A 35T or 45T Holmes Hobbies Handwound is another great motor though. |
