Default I'll finally post some pics... (ax-10 2.2 class build)

Been a longtime lurker and found a ton of good info on here to build up my crawler. I figure it's finally time to contribute some pics of my rig.

Spec:

Started life as an ax-10 kit
Integy carbon chassis plates
Custom UHMW skid plate
4 link front and rear, bent links, "custom" link plates, all links and chassis braces covered in black plastic or heatshrink, shortened stock shocks, squishy springs front, slightly less squishy springs rear
"Improved" axial battery plate steering setup, hitec MG servo
Lots of other random axial/custom machined bits and pieces
Novak 55t/rooster crawler combo, slipper, traxxas shafts
43/13 gears rear, stock front, Heavy duty diff locks
G8 chisels, uncut memory foams, proline outlaw beadlocks, internal lead weights
Chopped XC-1 body (and then extended a bit when I realized I chopped too much )
Futaba electronics
12.5" wheelbase, 2 5/8" belly height, 2.2 class legal

It drives amazing now, just got the tires and wheels set up along with the new gears and it's a dramatic improvement. The only thing I see changing on this rig is that I will eventually need aluminum rear lockouts, C's and hubs once I break the plastic parts. And maybe better shocks.

And now for the pictures for all of you who actually read everything and didn't skip directly to them.

(NOTE: I was going to apologize for the camera phone pics but they actually turned out looking pretty decent)

And the only recent action pic I have of it. It was almost dark and I forgot to turn the flash on...

Love them so far. Tons of traction, however the memory foams combined with the soft rubber made them too squishy on really jagged rocks though.

Why? They are the softest axail springs in the front (reds) and the 2nd softest in the rear (whites). Am I missing something?

So far so good, I'm considering going to a 50/50 droop setup to try something new but I really love the way it drives now. Way more stable than the stock suspension, almost no torque twist issues and breakage is at a minimum now.
