Default Starting a AX10 build.

Hello, I have a stock AX10 RTC right now, and its time to start putting some parts into it.

So far I got a couple questions, Then I will get a list of things I am thinking of getting.

For the high clearance links.. Is there a benefit to getting them for both front and back? I was going to get the aluminum Axial color pack, And it comes with only 2 high clearance links. So whats the deal there?

4 link set-up, I know it help eliminate torque twist, But how does it? And should I do both front and back, or just one?

Those are the questions I have right now, I'm still looking at everything so I'm sure more will come up.

Thanks,
Cody.

if you feel creative theres a user on here ( i think his name i s binary terror) has the diagram for the rear, and multiople fronts. it does get more of an advantage from the rear, but front just makes it more solid imho

Ok thanks for the help.

Im looking at a ESC and motor now. At first I was going to go with Tekin FXR with the 35t or 45t. But I'm thinking of getting a Sidewinder or MM instead.

Also what motors do you recommend besides the Tekin, Is there anything else good too? And should I go 35t or 45t?

I've used my Novak Rooster/55t setup for about 1 1/2 years and have had no troubles.

I'd go with the novak rooster and a 55t integy with say a 18 tooth pinion so u still got good torque and u still have decent wheel speed.

If you ever want a dig setup, definitely look at the Vanquish unit. I just installed one in my ax10, and its working great

Or save some bucks and get spanking new DNA dig for cheap. Look in vender section under axles and tranny.
