If your gonna be buying a few things from TCS, Get 2, 4 link servo mounts and 4 link it front and rear. OR go The Jetboat BTA set up for the front so that you can run a 2 cell lipo. CKRC HAS a good deal on there Lipos. Are you doing MIP Center CVDs? If so you dont need the driveshaft rings. Hpw do you plan to use the Dig ? What channel do you plan to use for Dig?? For servos on my rig with rear steer I just used a pair Of HiTech 645 s. |

It looks like you are off to a good start. For batteries, I am running 3s 1500mah 25c lipos. These are the ones I got. http://cgi.ebay.com/2x-25c-1500mAh-11-1v-11-1-Volt-LiPo-RC-AKKU-Battery_W0QQitemZ160377606476QQcmdZViewItemQQptZRa dio_Control_Parts_Accessories?hash=item255740114cis One battery honestly lasts me over an hour. I've been using these for a few months and they work great. This is the charger I got and it also works awesome for these lipos. http://cgi.ebay.com/iMAX-B6-Lipo-NiMH-battery-Balance-Charger-B6AC-Adapter_W0QQitemZ270440363679QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH _DefaultDomain_0?hash=item3ef780769f The servo I run is the Hitec 7955TG. I think RPPHobbies.com has them on sale right now too. Hope this helps. |

Cheapbatterypacks.com for batteries, at least for nimh stuff, you can order them any way you want, they make them exactly how you want them, high quality stuff, quick shipping. I got two 7-cell 1500mah elite packs for $42 and they run very well, I'm able to get about 45-55 minutes out of them. For servos I'm going with hitech 7950tg. Pricey but lots of power and rated for 7.4v take a look at the onyx chargers from duratrax too, they're not too expensive but so far I've had good results |

I made a lexan plate and zip tied it to my front links. I then used a 2 cell lipo that would fit between the front servo and tranny. It was a 1500mAh that I could get about 45mins of run time out of with my Goat 21.5 system.

No need for shorter top links. You can use the existing top links. Just add a rod end to the links and attach them to the bracket. Quote:
Here is the one for the front, the servo and the links mount to it https://www.tcscrawlers.com/TCS-Blac...g-p-17531.html Novak came out with a Goat system a while back that could handle 3-cell lipos. I have an older one that is rated for only a 2-cell. Just make sure which ESC you have. Last edited by awd199; 11-18-2009 at 05:39 PM. Reason: Add content | |

id stick with dog bones, or the felsenfast CVDs ONLY. all that other shit breaks. learn from me. i broke em and stuck the dog bones back in. i snapped an axel case in a bind. the dog bone wasnt even bent tcs, stnc or bender customes 4 link plates omit the 2 split pac battery plates and get ONE servo/battery plate and go with lipos (axial Vanquish or STNC i think the goat sux. id go castle sidewinder, or mamba, tekin fxr or fxr pro. save the money and dont buy a combo, and sink that cash into a warrior or Holmes Hobby professional had wound brushed motor and CC 10AMP BEC. and i assume you are aware that rear steer is not comp legal you dont have a Losi, so nooo need for Bl, and the Goat is only 2s lipo. and it will still glitch w/o a external BEC. the dig you chose is the best out Last edited by BEELZEBOB; 11-19-2009 at 03:37 PM. |

i totally argree with you guys on the goat i own one as well 2s one and its not the greatest , but it will work for now unless you find someone willing to buy it , i am buying a castle as well with a bec with computer link , and using my bl goat for a scaler. another purchase i would suggest is the upgrade your axial trans gears withthe integy hd gear set for like ($30) it makes this trans bullet proof.
