I managed to score some 5052 sheet from my buddies Rhino...had a skidplate he didn't want or something. Anyway, I'm using it for chassis's and link plates and whatnot. Pretty nice stuff...much better than the soft crap you get at the hardware store.

The plastic version used a full width AX10 skid, while this one is cutting board cut down to proper width. There were a few things that didn't jive during assembly, mainly things being in the way on mine when they weren't in my reference pictures. It turns out my issue was that I didn't get my pictures scaled exactly right, making things a tad bit on the small side. I did get it all together and functional, though I'm not really happy with the skid, so it'll get another.

It is fancy, in fact, I think I'm going to have the word "Fancy" and a small picture of Reba laser etched into it somewhere.

Haven't had it out yet, just got it the final assembly done this afternoon. Narrowing it up caused a few issues that I had to work through/around. I hope to get the electronics in tommorow and take it for a spin if its not wet.

I also need to make some links that are worthy of being attached to that chassis! They're nasty!

Not really. It wasn't a good rig for the rocks I have here.
