I took a good estimate of the length and tapped the ends generously like a turnbuckle so it would be adjustable if I was of a little bit, also makes the toe angle adjustable.

i just made a change to the linkage i now run the linkage under the servo tray. so now it cant hit anything. will post some pic's as soon as i can.

This mod was a lot easier to do that I thought it would be. I cut a servo link in half and cut down the two halfs to 14mm. I tapped the side that was not threaded then bolted everything up. To make it work I had to put bent ball-joints on each end of the servo link.

I know I a newb, but isnt that a lot of leverage on the screws connecting the draglink/tie rod to the knuckles?

Yes, can't see what knuckles are on there. Hopefully they hold up to the punishment. I would just go with some high clearance knuckles like VP.

i wanted to show my high clearance steering setup i used a piece of aluminum flat stock i had laying around drilled two holes in the ends and then bent it across my knee to curve it evenly. the drag link was a traxxas part used to give more fine tuning, i used servo mounts of of a hyperdrive pro 3 pan car because they angle the servo back which raises the servo arm, the reason i went this direction instead of flipping the arm is 1. body clearance when flexed 2. the straighter it pulls the more throw it will have.loctite was used on the screws in the knuckles i know im raising the dead with this post but i didnt want to start another thread with the same topic i plan on buying two 208 digital servos off ebay because they are cheap and i have heard good things about them plus they are only 17 dollars a pair lmk what you thinkhttp://i1189.photobucket.com/albums/z421/charleshermanpipesjr/Picture17.jpg?t=1291175311....http://i1189.photobucket.com/albums/...g?t=1291175311........................................

Yes it is. Both had screws that went all of the way through the knuckles with a nylock nut securing them. From time to time the knuckles would get bent out of shape.
